LISD Council of PTAs 2024 Candidate Forum

LISD Council of PTAs will be hosting a candidate forum for state house and state senate. These are the people wanting to be elected and those who are chosen will determine how Texas Schools are funded and governed. Education is the largest portion of the Texas budget. Come hear where the candidates stand on school funding, school mandates, assessment and other issues facing our children and their future. 

We need our current and future legislative bodies to understand that parents and teachers and students care about the work they do in Austin and expect them to support and make good decisions based on the current state and future of our schools.
